1 Full Day, 6 hours of game-changing training that a quarterback the competitive advantage they are seeking. Quarterback Academy sessions built on QBA's proven development model that accelerates an athlete's learning curve by combining  small group personal instruction focused on mechanics (throwing motion) and movement (footwork) with a R4 QB Passing System session (learning the fastest way to read, recognize and attack defensive coverage).

College prep clinics in the classroom for increased football acumen combined with impacting movement strategies and throwing mechanics on the field for a fully comprehensive quarterback experience.

Athletes will get lots of work with specific instruction on every rep, in a smaller group training environment.

Learn how to utilize the core and efficient arm path strategy for increased throwing power and ball speed.

Learn how to apply proper bio-mechanics for improved control and to consistently deliver ball on target!

 --Advanced QB movement training

Learn cutting-edge movement strategies to generate explosive mobility inside and outside of the pocket. Learn how to extend plays with improved athletic burst and balance!

Wide Receiver Training Program

With today’s explosive offensive systems and passing games, elite receiver play has become paramount in football. NFA’s WRA Receiver Academy training sessions and camps prepare athletes in all aspects of receiver play.  WRA Receiver Academy curriculum is based on the E4 system; Exit, Explode, Extend and Engage.  It is a total package and one of the premier positions on the offense.  Whether an entry level or elite athlete, players can expect precise teaching and improved receiver skills. Receiver training and camps include work on all of the following:

  • Stance and Starts
  • Footwork for precise route running.
  • Ball Skills and catching drills to more consistently make pressure catches.
  • Understanding the DNA of Routes and how to run more precise routes
  • Ball security and YAC (yards after catch)
  • Man and off coverage releases
  • Understanding space and Stemming Inside and outside leverage to create separation from defenders
  • Blocking
  • Defensive coverage recognition
  • Live routes with Quarterbacks
  • Competitions
  • Video evaluation that includes release, movement strategy and catching technique

 --R4 QB Passing System Session:

         -Using R4 Vision Tools to more clearly see the defense.  Be more confident!

         -Using R4 to assess and then attack your opponent. Read coverage better!

         -Using R4 to improve Performing and Decision Making while under pressure!

         -Using R4 for next level footwork. Improve mobility and pocket presence.

3:30 pm to 5:00 pm      Break for snack and R4 QB Passing System

5:00 pm to 6:00pm        Mechanics and Movement with WRs 

6:00 pm to 7:00 pm        R4 QB Passing System Training with WRs

AGES:

12* to 18+ ... Quarterback Academy sessions are targeted for high school and advanced youth QB's.  Athletes are placed into age and skill level appropriate small groups.

*Younger, youth QBs will be allowed if advanced and previously QBA trained. Contact us to confirm if your athlete is too young

WHAT TO BRING:

-A football from your team's level, marked with your name Football

-Shorts, t-shirt, workout towel

-Court Shoes 

-Water or Recovery Fluids

-A passion to improve!
